My Dad, Fritz W. Andrist was born 1 Feb 1934 in Bern, Switzerland. He lived there until he finished his primary education. Later he started his commercial apprenticeship in Lugano, Canton Ticino (italian speaking part of Switzerland). That's where he also made his higher educational courses. He met my Mom, Margrit Erika Brukmann, born 4 Nov 1937, in Flurlingen, Zurich, while he worked for different major companies like Sulzer etc.. His last job was CFO for a larger Swiss foundation before he finaly retired. My Mom grew up in Obfelden where her father had an allover famous bakery. She is a homemaker but was also working for sales departments of a large national retailer.
